What #BulldogSTRONG Means to Natalie: "To me, being #Bulldogstrong means being kind and always striving to be the best person you can be. This means not only setting yourself up for success but also empowering and helping those around you."

What Makes GVHS a Special Place for Natalie:
"Being involved in clubs, extracurriculars, and sports has impacted my time at Golden Valley by making it more memorable. Getting involved allowed me to build new friendships and grow as a person. I learned a lot about my passions and what I enjoy doing. It has also taught me the importance of teamwork and collaboration with people who are passionate about the same things as me. Some of the most memorable moments include my senior night for Swim at the Valley Championships, where I broke my personal records in all my events, and my time dancing with the Folklorico group at Golden Valley."

"My most influential teachers and staff members at Golden Valley include Mrs. Hertzog, Mr. Alvarez, Mrs. Perez, and Mrs. Ruvalcaba. They are all amazing, kind people who have encouraged me and supported me throughout this last year. They have helped me learn more about myself and motivated me to do my best."

What Teachers and Staff Think of Natalie:
"Natalie is a bright, talented, and kind student who will continue to do amazing things in life. Her dedication to be present in each club or sport she does, all while maintaining amazing grades, is truly admirable. She embodies what it means to be #BulldogSTRONG." Kirstie Park, Activities Director, Golden Valley High School

"Natalie is a wonderful student in my AP Statistics class. She is helpful to all, and is willing to put in the work to be one of the best students in the class. Even with everything she is involved with, she still maintains a high grade and makes sure to catch up on anything if she misses class. Natalie is a pleasure to have as a student, and exemplifies what #BulldogSTRONG is all about!" Dr. David Gago, Math Department Chair, Instructional Coach, Golden Valley High School

"Natalie is a brave, young, and beautiful girl who is not intimidated by challenges. Natalie always said yes to anything I asked her to do; from conducting staff interviews for Staff Spotlights to changing her dancing partner at the last minute. Our Folklorico group was lucky to have her for two years. Natalie is a very respectful human with a big heart. I know she will succeed in anything she puts her mind to. I know that someday she will fulfill her dream of becoming United States president. I will miss her dearly." Gaby Ruvalcaba, Computer Instruction Technician and Folklorico Advisor, Golden Valley High School

"While Natalie was in Spanish AP class, she exceeded in all categories. I truly enjoyed having her in class. Natalie, you are valuable, and I want you to enjoy every learning moment of life. Sigue luchando, sigue creciendo y sigue siendo tu propia admiradora." Sra. Eva Pérez, AP Spanish Teacher, Golden Valley High School

"Natalie has always been a well-rounded student at GVHS. She has participated in advanced courses, clubs, student government, and community-related activities. To classmates, she represents the pith of the BulldogSTRONG motto. To teachers, Natalie represents the epitome of commitment and dedication. For these and many other reasons, Natalies Tarango deserves this recognition. !Sigue adelante Natlie y recuerda que el tiempo es fugaz!" Gabriel Flores, AP Spanish Teacher, Golden Valley High School
