Plans After High School: Jose intends to enroll at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following his academic career, he aspires to establish his own business, travel, and eventually start a family.

"Jose has been an inspiration and an asset to the Interact Club. He created a connection with an assisted living facility on Union Ave for our students to serve these needy individuals. They played cards, painted art and spent quality time. It really was a great event and gave our GVHS Students an opportunity to serve the community. The event has continued this year. He also leads the club's group leaders in taking attendance and coming up with other important service projects.
