Nursing Services

Hi!  I am Naomi Kimbrell a nurse for the Kern High School District. I have an office at Golden Valley High School in the teacher’s lounge in Room 111 or I can be found in the Health Office with our Health Clerk, Danielle Olvera. I went to Chaffey Community College and Azusa Pacific University for my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.  I am currently attending Fresno State for my School Nurse Credential.

I have been a nurse for over 10 years and I have been working in schools for almost 4 years.  I love to work with students and help them live their lives to the fullest.  Whether you have medical diagnoses or if you simply have questions about your health I would love to help you.  I mainly help create Health Care Plans for students who have an IEP or a 504 and attend those meetings.  I also work closely with health staff and train them at the beginning of the year. I have recently created a quarterly newsletter called the Bulldog Beat with the goal of providing tips and advice for a safe and healthy lifestyle.
